Gloria de Oliveira

Gloria de Oliveira is a German-Brazilian musician and multidisciplinary visual artist. After first training as a classical singer and then falling into an acting career that included roles in international productions such as “Babylon Berlin” and Christian Petzold’s “Undine”, she has spent the last years dedicating herself to music. Her spellbinding sonic spectrum defies genre and moves seamlessly between Dream Pop, Ethereal Wave, Dark Ambient, Shoegaze, Goth, folk & classical leanings, as well as Bossa Nova, MPB & Tropicália influences. After initial releases in 2018 with the Darkwave/Synth-Pop duo lovespells, de Oliveira released her self-produced debut album Fascination in 2020, including collaborations with artists such as Gudrun Gut, Box And The Twins and Fragrance. The Berlin-based artist’s second album, Oceans of Time (reviewed as an "ethereal gem" by Loud & Quiet Magazine), was created in collaboration with David Lynch’s longtime sound designer Dean Hurley and released in late 2022 via Sacred Bones Records. Performances at festivals such as SXSW, Way Out West, Grauzone, Maifeld Derby, and Pop-Kultur Berlin followed, alongside compositions for theater, film, and London Fashion Week. Her third album, The Lying Swans, produced by Randall Dunn and recorded in Iceland, New York City, and Berlin, is set for release on October 30, 2026, via La Double Vie & Cargo Records.
